Atopic Dermatitis is a skin condition that comes and goes. A person with atopic dermatitis reacts abnormally to irritants, environmental allergens, and food and develops flaky and dry, red, and very itchy skin.
This skin condition tends to develop in childhood, occurring together with other atopic dis-eases like asthma and hay fever. |

The cause of Atopic Dermatitis is not known. It is believed to spring from a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

The medical community has no cure for it, it is said that the sensitivity of the skin will always remain to some degree. Affected people are offered treatments to manage and minimize the symptoms of this skin condition.
Lotions, creams and ointments, moisturizers, topical steroids, and antiseptic solutions are all commonly offered treatments.
The aim is to:
- reduce skin dryness
- reduce skin inflammation
- minimize scratching

Test show that by drinking alkaline water and by applying strong acidic water on affected areas of the skin, itchiness and dryness symptoms are reduced. And that's without the use of any other medications.
